Beau Chateau Havanese Pups

Our havanese are family pets and travel with us everywhere.    We are not breeders, simply pet owners wanting to reproduce the best pets possible and we’re loving every minute of it.  We are retired so we have plenty of time to enjoy our angels.  Our goal is to find the best homes for the puppies as they truly deserve only the best!

About Us:

     My husband (Mike) and I (Jane) reside on 5 acres, including a pond.  My son, Matt, his wife Brittany, and 2 girls (3 and 5) live just a few miles away.

     In November of 2008 Brittany and I each wanted a new addition to our homes in the form of a dog.  Like most people, we were not familiar with the Havanese.  The more we researched, the deeper we fell in love and knew we each had to have one.  Of course our understanding husbands were on board 100%. After months of searching for the perfect companion, Brittany and Matt found Mazzy in January 09.  Shortly after, I found Luci.  It didn't take long for Brittany and I to decide we wanted to share these beautiful creatures with the world, so we added the perfect stud to the family, Tango.  Then there were 3.  Tango and Luci live with us and Mazzy with Matt, Brittany, and their girls.

     Yes, we are new to breeding dogs, but certainly not new to loving animals.  I also have a 16 year old Chihuahua, 2 chickens, and a cat. We would certainly not breed any other dog breed but the Havanese.  They are truely the perfect pet for anyone.  All of our babies are nothing but sweet.  While they love any kind of attention, they are independent and don't require 24/7 attention.  While they love to cuddle and would love to sleep in the bed with us, they never complain when it's time to get in their crates for the night. They are smart and learn quick at a young age, able to be potty trained faster than any other dog I've known.  It still takes time and devotion to train them, just like any other breed, but they tend to comprehend your commands faster than the average bear.  They love my grandchildren and are known for getting along with anyone or anything, especially each other and other playful dogs.  One of my favorite characteristics is that they don't cling to their sole owner or get too protective and bite like most other small breeds.  They have the curiosity to explore (and plenty of energy too), but come to you when called.  My two love every inch of our property and roam free, but have never tried to leave the property.

     I'm sure there are some exceptions to the rule, and I can only speak for our babies, but I can't imagine anyone not being satisfied and completely in love with a new Havanese puppy, and I can promise that every puppy you see on this site will be loved and cared for from the moment their born to the time you pick them up, and it won't stop there.  We will hope that we get frequent updates and photos from any new owner that adopts one of our pups, and of course we will answer any questions we can about any of our pups while on our property or after you take them home.
